​​​​Caroline Cotto is a French visual artist born in Nice in 1991. She graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands in 2018, where she developed a research-based approach to design with a particular focus on color.

Working across design and art after her studies, she gradually shifted her practice towards painting, which has become her primary medium. Her work explores color, light and landscape, drawing from her experiences of living in different European cities, including Nice, Eindhoven, London, Lisbon and Rome.

Since returning to Paris in 2025, Cotto has been developing a painting practice that explores landscape as a space of perception, memory and sensation. Her work moves between representation and abstraction, using colour as a language through which to translate experiences of place and the changing qualities of light.

Her work has been exhibited in France and internationally, including at Object Rotterdam, Design Museum Gent, Le Tripostal in Lille and Centre Culturel La Coupole in La Gaude.
